Upcoming book and cover reveal and giveaway!!!

First off

Here's wishing you all a wonderful fresh start and a very exciting new year with lots of new adventures and new beginnings!

I know this year I have a lot of exciting things in store but I'll save that for another post. Right now lets get to the announcement and cover reveal!

I said it again and again. I wouldn't do it. I was asked so much I even added it to my FAQ page that I would not be writing more about them. I just couldn't put them through any more drama. Their story was done. I could maybe write a few bonus scenes and I did and posted them. Yet, inwardly I kept saying another full length story?

Never

Then it happened. The story just started coming to me early this year (2013) and I still fought it, but it wouldn't go away. So I decided just for giggles to write a scene. My GOD what fun it was to get back into their world. And so it began until...

uh oh.

Remember these two?

The scenes I'd started writing were supposed to be just for fun, therapeutic, while I took breaks from Desert Heat, Abel and Breaking Brandon . But it kept getting longer and the tension and angst began to build and I couldn't just leave it like that! Those longer more intense scenes? Well... they turned into chapters. And then... *hangs head* let's just say, never say never because now...

Coming in February 2014 ...

Now some of those previous teasers I posted will make more sense. Here they are with their names in them this time.  If you don't feel like rereading skip to the end for the giveaway! =D

Teaser #1

"It's not true is it?"

Her mom motioned for her to take seat at the kitchen table but she refused. "No first tell me if it's true," Sarah asked her heart rate spiking as the feelings of betrayal sunk in.

Had her mom really made such a selfish decision and kept it from her all these years?

"It's complicated."

"What's complicated?" she demanded the warm tears blurring her eyes. "Either you lied to me or you didn't."

"I was protecting you, honey. Sit down and I'll explain."

Teaser #2

"Forever and always?" Sarah asked smiling against his lips, her hands still cupping his face.

"I'm yours," Angel responded as she knew he would then added. "You're mine."

"Forever and always," she assured him kissing him even deeper.

It was something they'd started doing over a year ago playfully but somehow it stuck and both knew exactly how to respond whenever one of them brought it up.

Kissing her one last time as they stood next to her bed he pulled away staring at her with a now very intense stare she knew meant only one thing. In the next instant he spun her around then pulled her shorts off.

Teaser #3

"I hope it was worth it." The coach glared at them all. "I hope you guys at least got laid tonight because after the game tomorrow, win or lose, you don't shower. You don't head to the bus. You grab something to eat from a vending machine or wherever you can in that stadium. Then you meet me back on that field when the crowds are gone. We're gonna run drills until you're all puking your f**ing lungs out. And then Sunday morning. We do it again. Sunday afternoon—again."

He slammed his hand against the bus ceiling then walked off the bus. All the players sat there waiting to be dismissed but they watched as the coach walked into the hotel and didn't walk back out. The driver stood up and faced them with a disapproving but sympathetic expression. "I think you boys better get to bed now."

They all stood slowly and exited the bus with their tails between their legs . Angel was so mad he could almost roar but there was no point. This whole weekend was fucked now. Even then he'd gladly take the drills and the two-a-day on Sunday. None of that was worse than having to explain this night to Sarah.

Teaser #4

Sarah didn't respond to that, and she knew there was no way he couldn't see the pain in her flooded eyes. That's why when he said goodbye one last time and cut their chat so abruptly, leaving her staring at a black screen, it felt like an even colder slap in the face.

Stay tuned for more teasers!

Para Mi... Por Siempre - Spanish Edition of Forever Mine is here! Giveaway!

How about reading Angel and Sarah's story in Spanish? The Forever Mine Spanish Edition is here!

Para Mi... Por Siempre
Hermanos Moreno #1

Entonces conoce a Ángel Moreno.

“No, no puedo, estaré trabajando”.
“¿No inventes Lynni? Esta es tu oportunidad de divertirte. ¡No puedes perderla!”
“Ya me había comprometido”, le dijo. “Y los Salcido realmente me pagan bien. Además no conozco a nadie excepto a Valeria”.
“No entiendes.
Te he visto a ti”.
“¿Me prometes algo?”

Breaking Brandon official blurb, new teaser and surprise announcement!

I know it's not Tuesday anymore but here is this weeks teaser anyway! I thank you all for your patience!

First the official blurb!

He ruled out attachments years ago. Then one day he crosses paths with a beautiful but pampered daddy's little princess. History has taught him one thing about women like her—steer clear.

She was starting over. She moved back to her home town, took a new job assignment, and left her past behind. For the first time in over eighteen months, she's even intrigued by a man—a sexy but cold and indifferent drill sergeant. Despite feeling drawn to him, she has no time to figure out his inexplicable aversion to her.

Then Fate steps in one night, forcing them together. There's a connection neither can refute, and they both consider giving into the undeniable attraction.

Fate however can also be cruel. Just when they surrender to their heart's desires, past demons resurface in the most unexpected way, threatening the happiness neither realized they so desperately needed.

Ready for a teaser? I was going to make it much shorter but since this is late I'll give you guys a little more!

The line at the deli counter had shortened considerably since he first arrived, so he decided he may as well grab something to eat. He still had a five-hour flight ahead of him, and from experience, he knew, unless you were in first class, the in-flight food sucked ass.

The dark haired girl who stepped in line just before him nearly knocked over her very expensive looking carryon as she rolled it along too hastily. Her other hand was at her ear, where she held her phone. Brandon didn’t know much about bag brands, but he could tell just by looking at it, it was expensive. Everything about her said expensive from her long leather coat to her high-heeled sleek city boots to the equally expensive purse that hung on her shoulder. The sunglasses that sat on top of her head alone probably cost more than his airline ticket. She even smelled expensive.

“No, Daddy, I’m fine.” Her bracelets jingled as she reached out for a tray. “I have a car service picking me up at the airport, and I’m all set up in a condo when I get there. Don’t worry.” Brandon stared at the side of her face dryly. It figured the princess was well looked out for. “Yes, I’m meeting abuelita at Flemings for dinner tonight if I make it on time. My connector flight was delayed. I’m in D.C. right now.”

Grabbing a tray, Brandon glanced around at the choices of chips he had to throw on it, trying to ignore the girl’s annoying conversation with Daddy. She struggled to push the tray along while pulling her carryon and holding her phone at the same time. Cradling the phone between her shoulder and her chin, she looked up at the lady behind the counter who was waiting to take her order. “I’ll have a chicken salad with no tomatoes or egg with light thousand island dressing and a Coke Zero.”

“The salads are premade.” The bored-looking lady held out a premade salad in a plastic container. “We only have regular thousand and Diet Pepsi.”

“No, I already told Mom I’d look into buying a car when I got there.” Princess glanced up at the lady behind the counter and held up a finger. “You can’t just give me your car, and besides I don’t drive stick shift.” She glanced back at Brandon and offered an apologetic smile for holding up the line. “Daddy, let me call you back. I’m in line right now. Okay. Okay.” She smiled at the lady behind the counter then at Brandon again.

Brandon stared at her unsmiling, taking in the small details of daddy’s little princess. The lip gloss that she wore was barely there but enough to accentuate her already plump lips. They were subtle and flawless, as were her well-manicured French-tipped nails. She had dark features: dark, thick, shiny, near-black hair that flowed down halfway to her elbow and dark lashes that draped over those big brown eyes. The fact that this grown woman was standing here talking to an obviously overbearing daddy and that she referred to her grandmother in Spanish brought back the annoying reminder of . . .

“Yes, I promise,” she said, finally sounding as impatient as Brandon was beginning to feel. “Okay, bye, bye. I love you too.”

She hung up, smiling crookedly at Brandon, who again offered no smile in return. Turning back to the lady behind the counter, she waved the salad away and glanced around. “Is there some place here I can get a salad made?”

The lady behind the counter pressed her lips together, taking the salad back. “You can try Gordon’s,” the lady said, and with that, she was done with the princess, moving on to Brandon. “What’ll it be?”

Brandon put in his order for a turkey sub and an iced tea, not noticing which direction the princess had gone. He ate quietly, sitting on the floor near a window overlooking the runway, his back against the wall.

He was over being bitter about having to transfer back to a place he’d vowed he never return to. San Diego was a huge city, and the truth was just as in South Carolina where he’d been a DI for the past four years, he’d be spending most of his time on the base anyway. Whatever time he spent off the base he’d be sure to steer clear of La Jolla.

“Well, I was just gonna go back to the same gym I always went to.”

Brandon glanced up to see the princess on her phone again, standing in front of a seat in one of the nearest rows of seats to him. He studied her for a moment as she removed her coat, revealing the rest of her long high-heeled boots. They went all the way up past her knees. What she wore under them—skin hugging leggings and a gray sweater that draped over her round but tight little ass and hips—said a lot about how much time she must spend at the gym.

As his eyes made it all the way up to the scarf around her neck and back to the full lips that had caught his eyes the first time, he noticed she was watching him watch her. The expression on her face was an amused one. Brandon was anything but amused. Her lips curved into a smile, and he looked away. Pulling himself up, he gathered his trash. He threw his military bag over his shoulder and walked away, annoyed that he’d given the pampered princess yet another reason to feel better about herself, as if a girl like her didn’t already have enough reasons to feel superior to those around her.

Doesn't have much to do with this teaser but I saw this and it made me think of bad ass annoyed Brandon. ;)
